Setup Office 365 email on your iPhone or iPad
This document provides a step by step guide to configuring an iPhone or iPad to receive email through an Office 365 Outlook account.
If your iPhone or iPad does not have a mail account already configured start by pressing the “Mail” icon. You can now skip to number 5.
If your iPhone or iPad is already configured with other email accounts proceed to number 2.
To add an additional mail account to your iPhone or iPad start by clicking on the “Settings” icon.
Next locate and click on “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”.
Now click on “Add Account”.
You will be presented with a list of different service types. For Office 365 Outlook you will need to click on “Exchange”.
Enter your Email address, Password and a Description for the new account and click the “Next” button in the top right hand corner.
If this page is displayed then you will need to enter ‘outlook.office365.com’ into the “Server” dialogue. If this extra information is not required then you can move straight to number 8.
Now you can select what content is synchronised with you iPhone or iPad. Mail is selected by default and cannot be turned off. Make your selection and then click the “Save” button in the top right hand corner. That is it, your Office 365 Outlook email account is now setup on your iPhone / iPad.
